Situated on a break in the NW-facing slope of a hill. This site is bisected by a field boundary and only the W half survives (as indicated on the latest ed. OS 6-inch map). The E half has been levelled with no visible trace at ground level. The W half consists of a raised area (diam. 27m NW-SE; 16m NE-SW) enclosed by a bank largely reduced to a scarp, best preserved upslope in the SE quadrant (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.74m; ext. H 0.5m).
