Fairy forts and earthen ringforts in Lisquinlan belong to the ancient borderland where human memory and fairy story still tangle. The circle may have been a farm, a refuge, a boundary marker or a forgotten household, yet its shape remains clear enough to imagine life moving inside it. In local tradition such places are not empty; they are kept, watched or waiting. To walk past one is to enter a landscape where the ordinary and the hidden still share the same soil.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (34.5m E-W; 33m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.25m) with external fosse (D 0.55m) N->S. Interior slopes down to N.
