No visible fort remains in Lisheenafeela because aerial photographs show the earthwork disappeared in the late 1990s. Under the pasture, however, a shallow circular scar may still mark the place where briars, a western entrance and a grassy interior once held the memory of human hands. The fairies keep what people forgot: a small round room large enough for argument, birth, loss and the ordinary business of staying alive.

In pasture. Circular area (39m E-W; 36m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 1.3m); shallow external fosse (D 0.2m). Bank overgrown with briars and bushes; entrance (Wth 3m) to W. Fosse survives as gentle slope down to base of bank. Interior grass covered and level. Aerial photographic evidence suggests that this ringfort was levelled in the late 1990s.
