Fairy fort in Lisduane, County Limerick: a circular earthwork about 36 metres across, with a steep scarped edge, shallow outer ditch, and a causeway entrance at the south-west. It sits on a sunny slope now lost under pasture, beside a second similar ring only five metres away. People may have lived, herded, hidden or worshipped there before the fields swallowed the shape. The fairies, according to local story, never left.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (35.9m N-S; 34.7m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 1.9m; Wth 6.2) with external fosse (D 0.45m; Wth 3.15). Break in scarp (Wth 2.5m) with causeway across fosse at SSW. Generally level interior slopes up gradually towards perimeter. Entire enclosure is under pasture.
