Situated on the SE-facing slope of a hill in hilly pastureland. Depicted as a circular enclosure bisected by a NE-SW field boundary on both the 1st and current editions of the OS 6-inch map. A roughly circular area (diam. 32.4m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by traces of a very slight raised curving bank (Wth 3m), a fosse (Wth 5.4m), a second bank (Wth 4.5m) and fosse (Wth 3.6m). The defences are particularly visible at NW and E.
