Mysterious conifers now crowd the fort, but a wide earthen ring still stands beside the Rylane River. The trees may be hiding a chamber or chambered passage beneath the ground. If so, the fort is not a abandoned shell but a living threshold, still holding what its makers chose to keep from sight.

In pasture, c. 50m N of Rylane River. Circular area (diam. 42m) defined by earthen bank (H 1.2m). Bank and interior planted with coniferous trees.
