What is recorded here

Kilcraheen is a fairy fort, an earthen ringfort set in tillage atop a hill in County Cork. Its oval measure is thirty-eight metres east-west and thirty-three metres north-south, enclosed by a one-point-three-five-metre bank with an external fosse from south-southwest to northwest. A three-metre entrance faces east, and the interior slopes gently downward in that direction. People may have lived there, feared there, or simply passed beside it; the earth still holds the shape of that choice.

In tillage, atop hill. Oval area (38m E-W; 33m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.35m), with external fosse (D 0.8m) SSW->NW. Entrance (Wth 3m) to E. Interior slopes gently down to E.
