What is recorded here

Kilcloghans holds a thirty-three metre earthen ring on a grassy slope, its bank broken by time and a later field wall. The earth still curves around a hidden centre, suggesting people shaped the hill before memory faded. Maybe children ran inside the circle or adults argued about pasture, their voices lost to rain. The fort remains a quiet witness, recording human presence through soil rather than stone.

On a NE-facing slope in grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 33m) defined by a denuded bank at NE and from SE through S to SW; elsewhere a degraded scarp forms the enclosing element.
