Fairy fort in Grange, County Galway: a well-preserved earthen ringfort, 54m by 50.5m, with two stone-lined banks, a fosse between them and a clear eastern entrance. It sits on a north-facing grassland slope, looking down over poorly drained ground. Quarrying has cut into its east, south and southwest edge, leaving an irregular scarp where the old bank once stood. A probable underground passage is associated with it, hinting that the fort may have hidden rooms as well as rooms above.

On N-facing slope of a hill ingrassland overlooking poorly drained land to N. Well-preserved subcircular ringfort (E-W 54m, N-S 50.5m) defined by two stone-lined banks and an intervening fosse. Well-defined entrance at E. Quarrying hasencroached upon the monument from E through S to SW, and an irregular scarp forms the enclosing element in this sector.
