Not even a shadow of a fort remains on the northern slope of the drumlin ridge in Garrysallagh. The land has swallowed the earthworks entirely, leaving behind only a forgotten name and an empty field where a fort once stood. What was built there has been erased by time, grass, or deliberate destruction. The absence is the whole story now.
