Fairy fort in Garryndruig, County Cork: a circular earthen ringfort, 45 metres across, with a 0.9m bank and shallow outer ditch, its narrow north-west gap facing the open slope. People may have lived there, herded there, or simply avoided it after dark; the shapes still fit a hand-led world, even when the names have thinned to legend.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (43.5m N-S; 45m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 0.9m), with external fosse SW->NNW (D 0.8m). Gap to NNW (Wth 2m).
