Fairy fort in Garraun South is a circular earthen ring, twenty-four metres across, set on an east-facing slope where conifers now crowd the bank. People called it a fairy fort because the shape and shadows suggested more than human hands, yet the stone-faced gaps and fence line point to a lived human home. The field changed around it, but the circle remained, holding both memories and mystery.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Circular area (24.5m N-S; 23m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.2m). Stone facing survives at base of inner face of bank to SE. Bank incorporated into field fence system to WNW and stone-faced internally; gaps to ENE (Wth 4.6m) and ESE (Wth 4m). Interior and bank planted with coniferous trees.
