At the W end of a low rise and in a coniferous forest c. 130m from the SW shore of a bay at the SW angle of Lough Key. D-shaped platform (dims 28.5m NE-SW; c. 15m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 1-1.2m) SW-NE and by a N-S field bank at E and an E-W field bank at S. There is no visible bank, fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the SE part of the site cannot be traced. Rath (RO006-032----) is immediately to the SE.
