Mortons and fairies both wanted the fort, so neither admits the other. That is the whole truth of the place: a boundary drawn in earth where two kinds of life refuse to share one story.

A subcircular area (dim.s c. 47m NE-SW, c. 33m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 3.7m; int. H c. 0.5m, ext. H c. 1.3m), and external fosse (Wth c. 4.2m) from SE-NE.
