Fairy fort in Coolagh, County Galway, is a well-preserved subcircular rath, 39.5m N-S and 30m E-W, defined by two tree-lined banks and an intervening fosse. The fosse and outer bank do not survive from S to W, and a field boundary overlies the outer bank from NW through E to S. A causewayed entrance gap, 4m wide, faces SSE. According to local information, a possible Man-made underground passage lies to the WSW of the monument.

According to local information, there was a possible Man-made underground passage (GA107-047----) to the WSW of the monument.
