What is recorded here

Cloonmore preserves a true earthen ringfort, not a fictional fairy circle, though local tongues still label it a fairy fort. That naming admits human memory before it claims to understand the place. People may have built, abandoned, buried or reused the ridge while believing the land already belonged to something older. The clay remembers every assumption laid upon it.
