Thirty metres of good Donegal land still hold a shallow ring where people lived before the county had a name. The fairy fort label is local mischief, but the underground passage and outer ditch suggest a defensive home rather than a child's game. It sits in rolling country where survival required foresight, and the completed chamber may have been a cellar, refuge or treasury. What is missing has not stopped the shape from existing.

Internal diam. 30-35m. A subcircular space enclosed by an earthen bank up to 1m high. There are possible traces of an external fosse on the S and W sides. An opening to a filled-in Man-made underground passage is visible in the SW quadrant. It is situated in a rolling landscape of fairly good land.
