Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Castledaly

No stone wall or earth bank remains in the gently undulating scrubland of Castledaly, yet a curving field boundary still traces the southern and western arc of the lost ring. That line may be the last visible breath of a circular enclosure thirty-three metres across, large enough for a household, a herd, or a small community facing the open land. The fort disappeared from human memory before it vanished from the surface, leaving behind a shape the fields still remember.
