What is recorded here
In pastureland. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subrectangular enclosure (c. 56m NE-SW; c. 47m N-S). Field boundaries overlay the enclosing element along the SE and SW sides. On the 1921 edition a NW-SE field boundary cut across the site from roughly W to SSE and only the area to its N is depicted. On inspection in October 1982 no visible surface trace survived. However, slight traces of its outline are visible from roughly S through W to N on the OSi Ortho_ITM aerial imagery (Google 2019).
