What is recorded here

On a low rise in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 34m) defined from W-NW-N by a scarp (H 0.9-1.6m) and enclosed from N-NE-E by a bank of earth and stone, which has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary. There is no trace of a fosse. Elsewhere the enclosing element and much of the interior have been levelled. The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F.
