What is recorded here
In tillage, atop low hill. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1924 OS 6-inch map, is now completely covered by dense overgrowth. As far as could be ascertained site is enclosed by a high earthen bank with an external fosse. A collapsed dry-stone field boundary bounds site on E side and a public road bounds it on S side. Field boundary clearance debris has been dumped along fringe of enclosure.
