What is recorded here

Thirty-five metres of forgotten wall circle a hill slope in Ballylahy, County Galway. Grass and brush have swallowed most of the bank and ditch, yet the southeast edge still rises above the pasture. A smaller house shape may remain inside the eastern curve. People built the fort, lived there, left it, and stopped remembering the names of everyone it held.

On NW-facing slope of a hill in pastureland. Poorly preserved circular rath (diam. c. 35m) defined by a bank and external fosse best preserved at SE. The enclosing elements are obscured by overgrowth. There is a possible house site (GA114-011001-) in the SE quadrant of the interior.
