What is recorded here
On a gentle NE-facing slope in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 25.2m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.7m; H 0.2-0.8m) with a wide, shallow, intervening fosse (Wth 6.2m; D 0.3m) and an outer bank (Wth 4.8m; H 0.3m). From SSE-W-NNE the inner bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary and the fosse and outer bank have been levelled. A break (Wth 2.1m) in the bank at SSE marks the original entrance. Within the interior are a number of quarry holes and outcropping rock.
