Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballybroder (bullaun Ed)

Fairy forts hide in plain sight. The fort at Ballybroder is gone from the surface, yet its interior still contains a man-made passage and a nearby oval enclosure. That is not a mistake or a blank gap. It is an invitation to stop expecting antiquity to announce itself with walls and medals. On a small rise in ordinary pasture, the ground has kept its shape while human memory loosened its grip. To walk there is to meet the living layer beneath certainty: not a dead ruin, but a place still doing what it has always done, withholding itself until recognized.
