Cairn is a small unclassified burial mound in County Clare, Ireland, with a flat top and scattered slabs. It sits on a ridge terrace above wide views, marked only by grass, stone and memory. People may have placed dead there, watched weather from that height, or simply remembered the shape long after names disappeared.

In rough pasture on a level terrace in the S slope of a NE-SW ridge, with wide views except to the N, and within a relict field system (CL006-164----). Listed as ‘Burial mound’ in the RMP (1996) on the basis of a map annotation (‘mound, cist’) by Tom Coffey, and a note by Paul Walsh referencing a cairn (SMR file). This small subcircular cairn (8m E-W; 7m N-S; H 0.4-0.9m) has quite a flat top (5m E-W; 3.5m N-S). Where not covered by grass, the visible cairn material is mostly flat slabs. There is a large, heavily tilting upright slab (H 0.6m) and other much smaller slabs on the upper slope at N. There is another cluster of flat slabs on the upper slope at ESE.
