Eochaill on Inis Meain holds a small limestone cross-slab inside a children’s burial ground, not far from a broken cross pillar. The slab is only thirty centimetres tall, yet its single-line cross ends in a T-shape above and forked marks at the sides and base. It is the kind of place where love, loss and belief become visible in a hand’s breadth of stone.

Located within a children’s burial ground (GA111-003001-), c. 10.4m to the NW of a broken cross-inscribed pillar (GA111-003002-). This limestone cross-slab (H 0.3m; Wth 0.12m; T 0.12m) bears a single-line Latin cross with a T-shaped terminal at the top and slightly forked terminals on the arms and base.
