In a forgotten corner of County Galway, a small limestone slab leans against a broken pillar inside a children’s burial ground. It bears only a plain two-line cross, yet that simplicity suggests love stripped bare, marking little lives without warning or pride. The stone still stands where it was set, holding the names the world never learned.

Located within a children’s burial ground (GA111-003001-) and leaning against the NW face of the lower portion of a broken pillar stone (GA111-003002-). This rectangular limestone cross-slab (H 0.43m; Wth 0.26m; T 0.08-0.11m) bears a plain two-line cross on its W face.
