Corner-sited L-plan attached five-bay two-storey house, built c. 1870, with four-bay north-east elevation. Hipped and pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered walls, pebbledashed to first floor and channelled render to ground floor, with render plinth course and render stringcourse dividing stories. Square-headed openings throughout. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Those to ground floor with render surrounds incorporating decorative keystone detail and having render sill course. Square-headed door openings to ground floor, north-west and north-east elevation, with decorative render surrounds, timber panelled doors and overlights, that to north-west elevation with sidelights.

The large scale of this house is suited to its prominent corner site. The building's impact is heightened by the decorative façade and variety of renders and treatments. The building is enhanced by the retention of the uniformly one-over-one pane timber sash windows, which, together with the decorative elements, serve to unify the street-facing elevations and add to the building's impact.
