What is recorded here
Located in a large arable field c. 1.25km SE of the complex of ecclesiastical monuments at Gracedieu (DU007-015001-) and c. 336m W of the M1 motorway. An unnamed W-E running stream is located c. 158m to the S. The enclosure and other cropmarks can be seen on Google Earth coverage (3 July 2019) where they are visible as a series of positive cropmarks. The enclosure is sub-circular in plan (ext. diams. c. 40m NE–SW and c. 35m NW-SE) defined by a ditch (Wth c. 2m). There is no clear evidence for an entrance gap through the bank. There are clear but fragmentary remains of both linear and curvilinear features (DU008-121----), a probable field system(s), adjacent to the E and SE.
