What is recorded here

In gently undulating pasture with a rectangular enclosure (TS066-160001-) located 40m to the SW. Roughly rectangular slightly raised area (dims. 10m N-S; 9m E-W) defined by a low broad external earthen bank (Overall Wth 4.4m; Wth at top 1-1.2m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.1-0.2m) with an external narrow flat-bottomed fosse (Overall Wth 3; Wth at base 1.5m; D 0.1m). The fosse is best preserved SW-NW being very shallow and difficult to discern NE-SW. The fosse is not visible at ground level NW-NE. A break (Wth 2m) in the internal bank at N marks the position of the original entrance. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth.
