In improved pasture, on an old flood plain. Rectangular area (dims. 22m E-W; 19m N-S) defined by a bank (Wth 5.15-5.5m; int. H 0.15m-0.25m; ext. H 0.35-0.5m) at S (L 18m) and E (L 21m) and scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.4m) at W (L 28m) which is defining the E side of a leat (Wth 6m; D 0.25m), and an outer fosse (Wth 6.85m; D 0.15m) on the E and S sides. The low foundations of a rectangular building (TS059-112010-) are within, off-centre to the N.
