What is recorded here
Marked as an oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 30m E-W) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a slight shelf towards the top of a steep NW-facing slope. It is not visible at ground level in a root crop. Earthwork (WX034-014----) is c. 115m to the S.
