On the S-facing shoulder of a W-E spur. Described as a circular area (diam. 41.5m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by an earthen bank, outer fosse and outer bank. There was a stone-lined entrance (Wth 2.8m) and causeway at E (Gannon 1972). It is not visible now at ground level in pasture, although a field bank SE-W-NE might incorporate some of the outer bank. Rath (RO045-040----) is c. 110m to the N and rath (RO045-042----) is c. 150m to the ENE.
