Ice Ho. is an icehouse in Elphin, County Roscommon, Ireland. The spherical brick chamber has an internal diameter of 2.6m and connects to a 3.3m entrance passage pointing northeast. Remains of a 15m diameter mound surround the structure at the eastern edge of a steep plateau.
At the E edge of a plateau where the ground slopes steeply down to the E. This is a spherical brick chamber (int. diam. 2.6m) with an entrance passage (int. dims 3.3m NNE-SSW; 1.15m WNW-ESE) to the NE. It is surrounded by the remains of its mound (diam. 15m; H 0.7-1m) and occupies the NE quadrant of rath (RO016-157001-). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
