What is recorded here

Egmont holds a twenty-metre earthen ring where human hands shaped the slope into a shallow bowl. The soil remembers the weight of boots, the smell of rain, and the quiet patience of people who lived beside the land. Fairy forts invite wonder, but this is a human making: a small circle drawn in earth, still visible in pasture.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 20m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Roughly circular area (24m E-W; 22.3m N-S) defined by scarp (H 0.25m); external fosse (D 0.7m) W->NNE. From top of scarp, W->E, interior slopes down towards centre.
