Situated on poorly drained land with bog on all sides. Nearby tree-ring (TN005-027----) lies 350m to the SE. Indicated as a circular earthwork with trees planted inside it on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map, but not visible on subsequent editions of the OS 6-inch maps. Not visible at ground level.
