Fresstanding carved limestone tomb of John Lloyd Bagot who died 1863. Comprises ashlar table tomb with recumbent figure to top, with inscribed marble plaque to side. Figure carved in manner of medieval knight dressed in armour and with his dog at his feet. Tomb surrounded by high earth bank and stands at east end of graveyard of Saint John's Church of Ireland church.
This late nineteenth-century table tomb is very unusual in having been executed in medieval style, the deceased represented as a kinght in armour with his dog at his feet, and also for being located outdoors. It is in well carved limestone and constitutes a monument of some artistic importance.
