What is recorded here
Indicated is a circular earthen ringfort on a slight Kildare pasture rise, twenty-nine metres across and still visible in modern tillage. It is the kind of place where ordinary land stops being passive and becomes a participant in the life of the person standing inside it. The measured circle does not diminish the mystery; it gives the mystery a shape that can be walked, remembered and tested.
On a slight rise in pasture. Described in 1972 (SMR file) as a platform type ringfort, circular in shape (diam. 29m N-S), the interior of which sloped down slightly from N-S. A depression in the S-half was interpreted as resulting from recent digging. Visible, in tillage, on Google Earth in 2011.
