What is recorded here

That is a small rectangular, grass-covered house site on the inner bank of a rath in Dunelty, measuring three metres by two metres inside a slight earthen wall. It has no visible entrance, suggesting either a hidden doorway or a forgotten purpose. The compact size and buried boundary imply someone once lived there, perhaps watching the wider rath or keeping something small and private.
