Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Dundrum is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Dundrum, County Tipperary, Ireland. The roughly circular site spans 44 metres north to south and 44 metres east to west. A substantial bank runs from the north to east-southeast, while a deep ditch cuts through the east and east-southeast. A possible entrance appears where the bank lowers and the ditch fills in at the east-southeast.
In lush, level meadow. Roughly circular area (dims. 44m N-S; 44m E-W) defined by bank (overall Wth 8.7m; Wth at top 2.4m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.1m) N-ESE, reduced to very low scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.45m; L 8m) ESE-SE, remains of low bank (overall Wth 8.3m; Wth at top 2.8m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.1m) SE-SSE and scarp (Wth 4.2m; H 0.75m) SSE-N. Fosse (Wth 8.1m; D 0.4m) SW-N and appears to be present yet covered in dense briars and nettles N-ESE. Fosse (Wth 5.2m; D 0.4m) is very deep E-ESE and is backfilled ESE-SE where scarp is low and represents a possible entrance (Wth 8m). Gap (Wth 6m) in scarp at N beside truncated bank. Interior is generally level and appears featureless. Enclosure (TS060-002----) is c. 3m to SE.
