What is recorded here

One hut site in Ducavan still holds the shape of a small life inside a ringfort. It may have sheltered a family, a herder or a keeper of the fort, and the second hut beside it suggests the place supported more than one person. The earth remembers heat, food and conversation even when the wood has vanished.
