Fairy fort in Drumgurra, County Monaghan: a circular earthen ring about 25 metres across, with no visible entrance, sitting on the eastern tip of a drumlin spur and overlooking a gap between hills. The bank is low, overgrown, and cut by old field walls, yet the shape remains clear enough to suggest a place set apart rather than a random mound. It may have marked boundary, ritual, memory, or residence; the earth keeps the outline while the purpose waits to be imagined.

Located at the E tip of a W-E spur on the E side of a drumlin and overlooking a col with another drumlin summit c. 450m to the E. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. 25m NW-SE; 24.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 4.6m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.1m) W-NW and by a scarp (at S: Wth 3.4m; H 1.8m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or entrance. The monument is quartered by overlying NE-SW and NW-SE field walls but the wall running SW from the centre is now only a relict feature while the E quadrant has been completely removed.
