What is recorded here

Cairn: a low mound of peat over stones, two metres long and twenty centimetres high, possibly only a broken field wall. It sits on a broad flat terrace in County Carlow, one of a large group of similar mounds. A student named Ó Murchú recorded it in 2011 for a Master's thesis, and Claire Breen uploaded the entry in 2013. The mound may mark a border, a loss, or a boundary forgotten so completely it became small.

On a large flat terrace, a low mound of peat covering stones (c. 2m NW-SE; c. 1m NE-SW; max. H 0.2m), possibly the remains of a field wall.
