What is recorded here
This togher (L 5m min.; Wth 1.2m; D 0.12m), orientated E-W, consisted of longitudinal roundwood and occasional pegs and was radiocarbon dated to 1617-1433 BC (3250±35 BP, GrN-16633) (Raftery 1990, 24; 1996, Derryoghil 29, 157-8). When inspected in 1999 (Dunne) it comprised longitudinal roundwood and large brushwood overlying a brushwood substructure (overall L 18m; Wth 2m; T 0.4m).
