
What is recorded here
This togher (L 3.6m min.; Wth 1.9m min.; D 0.1m), orientated E-W, was noted in 1987 on the surface of the bog. It was composed of loosely arranged brushwood and roundwood of birch and hazel, across which a single oak plank extended. Radiocarbon dated to 376-183 BC (GrN-15485). (Raftery 1996, Derryart, 179)
