What is recorded here
Rock art in Derrynablaha stands just beyond a Kerry roadside fence, a broad shallow stone tilted slightly south where one picked line still cuts across the grain. The rest has nearly dissolved into weather and memory, leaving only a ghost of marking beneath the skin of the rock. Whoever made it worked on a surface now worn almost smooth, and the line remains because it entered the stone rather than sitting on it.
A prominent largely level-surfaced rock (c. 2m E/W x 1.5m N/S, H: c. 0.6m) adjacent to the road at W, located just beyond the fence, the upper surface of which slopes slightly to S and is inscribed with very faint rock art which includes a weathered picked line, clearly traceable for some 0.5m, running NE/SW across its surface. Other markings on the surface are extremely weathered and faint.
