No visible boundary exists on the ground, yet the soil still remembers the shape of hands that cut it. The field system in Curraghwalls lies hidden beneath an E-facing slope in County Meath, its drains drawing small rectangular rooms across eight acres. Those rooms cut through older circular and oval enclosures, suggesting people kept reusing the same land long after the first walls fell. The ground has not forgotten the shape of the work; it has only stopped showing it to everyone.

Located on an E-facing slope. The cropmarks of field drains covering an area of about 3 hectares (c. 8 acres) is visible only on Apple Maps which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during June 2018. The drains create a pattern of small rectangular fields (dims c. 30m x c. 20m to c. 60m x c. 30m). The drains partly incorporate a circular enclosure (ME033-067002-) and also overlie an oval enclosure (ME033-067003-), both of which are probably raths.
