What is recorded here
Situated in a fold on a NW-facing slope. The cropmark of a large oval enclosure (dims c. 150m ENE-WSW; c. 100m NNW-SSE) defined by a fosse feature (Wth c. 8-12m) NW-NE and E-SW is visible on Google Earth (09/07/2013). The perimeter might be incorporated into a NW-SE field bank NE-E, and it is cut by a S-N drain, field bank and townland boundary with Newtown towards its W edge. It was first reported by Jean Charles Caillere.
