Indicated is a submerged crannog at the northwest edge of Ardmeenan Lough in County Leitrim, Ireland. A narrow silt isthmus connects the overgrown stony circle to the lake shore, while reeds hide the less solid ground around it. The water has claimed most of the structure, leaving only a broad shadow beneath the surface.

Connected to the NW edge of the oval Ardmeenan Lough (dims c. 500m NE-SW; c. 200m NW-SE) by a silt isthmus. This is an overgrown, circular, stony area (diam. c. 15m; H 0.5m) surrounded by less solid ground (diam. 30m) which is covered with reeds. There is no visible surface evidence of any artificial features. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J.
