What is recorded here

Fairy forts are no joke. They are haunted. The earthen ring in Curragh, Duhallow, belonged to F. Burton's land before it vanished or hid. A thirty-one-yard circle of soil and memory, it likely watched people come and go, then refused to be found.

Bowman (1934,189) records levelled, single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 31yd) on F. Burton's land. Exact location not known.
